Nudge
Conceptual research project about encouraging exploration in new cities.

Survey
I worked on a team to research and determine a problem while traveling abroad. Based on our survey and UX research tools, we determined that people struggle with finding experiences right for their personality while abroad. For more reasearch, view our process blog at studioexploration.tumblr.com.

Wire-Framing
After determining a problem, we wire-framed potential solutions. Our discovery was people want to have both experiences tailored to them and the feeling of "stumbling upon" a place while traveling.

Nudge
Our solution is a system that incorporates a wearable tech device, app and website, that gracefully navigates explorers abroad.

The Band
The band elegantly directs you to locations tailored to your interests determined by the App.

The App
App users enter in a profile. A digital personality is generated and a recommendation engine comes up with designations based on experieces by customers with similar personality traits.
The band is desinged to have a removable clip, to easily be warn 2-ways.

Prototype designed on solidworks and 3-D printed in SLA plastic
The Website
Users can go online after a day of exploring and view their abstract map. The map can be shared on social media, printed onto merchandise or saved as a memory.
